I’ve been using a Nesco dehydrator for many years,And I purchased this on the advice of my sister.This is great for veggies, and herbs, jerky also.I use the Nesco for incubating my homemade yogurt.Had to cut a few of the trays so they only had rings that would layer up over 1 quart jars.Took maybe 5 trays to do that. But I had bought extra trays to be able to do such.And it works out very well. After putting jars into the “well”, I cover the jars lightly with Saran Wrap, and a think flour sack cotton towel. Put on the top and set to 95*F. Keeps the yogurt from getting a hard skin on top, and the towels keeps away any dust, fruit flies etc.I get a lot of use from both units!
